I’m writing these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God. I’m writing so you will know that you have eternal life. Here is what we can be sure of when we come to God in prayer. If we ask anything in keeping with what he wants, he hears us. If we know that God hears what we ask for, we know that we have it.1 John 5:13-15)
John wants his followers.....even you and me....to KNOW for sure of the promises of God. He doesn't want any guessing going on within our minds. Once we know, we can walk through the valley of the shadow of death and fear no evil! (Psalm 23:4) We can actually walk through this Covid-19 situation and without fear and frustrations, know that God is still right here with us!
Despite the pandemic, despite the injustice, despite the unrest, despite the doubts and unanswered questions, we keep seeking after Him and His will and stand upon His promises! We know He knows and we know He cares and is working it all out. Stay focused upon Him . . . and know better times are coming.
