Justice, Mercy, Law,and CHRISTians: George Floyd Disgust

I am disgusted! I am outraged! No, as a white man of sixty, I do not have the black experience nor claim to understand it. I never will. Yet as a husband to a beautiful and proud black woman ( of Frederick Douglass decent) and father of four children and six grandchildren "of color", I do have an experience and an opinion. However, more so, as a believer and disciple of Jesus Christ, I have an even stronger opinion toward my white and black family, especially those of lighter hue! Read these words from an Old Testament prophet, Jesus Himself, and the apostle Paul (an original "hater").
He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)
“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:  I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. (John 17:20-23)
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,  with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism;  one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Ephesians 4:1-6)
So you tell me brothers and sisters in Christ ( and yes, especially my white brethren): why are my sons and daughters threatened, scared, and being murdered?  Why are some remaining silent while others becoming violent? How are we to live whether we are politicians, police officers, common citizens, white, black, Asian, old, young, male, female, urban, suburban, or country folk if we are indeed Christ followers?

There is NO ROOM, NO EXCUSE, NO MOTIVE for racism!!!! There is NO room for division in the Church! I call out all CHRIST followers to STAND UP be counted! March if we must, boycott if we must, protest if we must....but do it with respect to our Lord, and Savior and our Daddy!!!! May our actions show justice, mercy, respect .for God's laws, and respect for life.....our children's lives and their futures! Can we PLEASE give them hope?:-):-)

Listen, there comes a day when we all, white, black, politicians, police, you and me, believers and unbelievers, will come face to face with Almighty God!

What will you say then when asked "Why?"
