God Alone!

But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard this, they tore their clothes and ran in among the multitude, crying out and saying, “Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men with the same nature as you, and preach to you that you should turn from these useless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them, who in bygone generations allowed all nations to walk in their own ways. Nevertheless He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.” And with these sayings they could scarcely restrain the multitudes from sacrificing to them.(Acts 14:14-18)

God alone!  Even today, we all get caught up in the people and the actions rather than the God who does it all. Yes, He still uses man to do the miraculous, but is is STILL God! We cannot allow the excitement, charisma, talents, or personality of men and women to distract us from God and His Spirit.

God alone deserves the honor and worship. It should come freely and from our heart, not through the direction of man. Let's not so get caught up in the "Hollywood Christianity" of entertainment, events, and charismatic style that we forget it is because of Christ and through faith in Him that we can even breathe, much less worship! Like in Paul's day, it can become easy to begin worshipping man and his actions rather than  our  Lord and Savior. God alone . . . .
