The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance; He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked, So that men will say, “Surely there is a reward for the righteous; Surely He is God who judges in the earth.”(Psalm 58:10-11)Many times people will not understand our motives or our actions. They may not even be of God. Yet we must stay focused upon doing His work and in His way and not allow others' actions to deter us. When Jesus was rejected in Samaria along with his disciples in Luke 9:51-56, Jesus told them not to "call down fire from heaven". In fact, Jesus rebuked James and John and simply moved on to another village. Just move along . . .
"In the Beginning", the daily REMINDER from The Carroll Outreach Mission (formerly The Sparrows' Nest or TSN), is intended to jump start your day with the Lord. The Bible opens up with , "In the beginning, God..." It is our prayer that you will use this tool to begin or "restart" your day with the Lord! Only what we do for Him will last in the end!
