"You do not want to leave too, do you?", Jesus asked the twelve. Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and to know that You are the Holy One of God."(John 6:67-69)It's quite alright to have questions at times regarding faith. After all, we live in a world where there are so many opinions and versions of truth! Please understand that we all go through periods of doubt, anxieties, and fears. That's part of our HUMAN nature. However, for the believer, the Spirit of God within us will relieve those doubts. Even though Peter would eventually deny Jesus, his foundation of faith brought him back. As you have questions . . .and you will . . .know where to go for the answers. Do not go to the world. Do not go to someone you know does not have faith. Do not go to Wikipedia!!!! Go to The Source. Go to God (James 1:5). Go to seasoned Christ followers. Go to someone you can trust. Questions bring answers. Not asking questions will cause doubt to grow. So ask away . . .we all will grow from it!
"In the Beginning", the daily REMINDER from The Carroll Outreach Mission (formerly The Sparrows' Nest or TSN), is intended to jump start your day with the Lord. The Bible opens up with , "In the beginning, God..." It is our prayer that you will use this tool to begin or "restart" your day with the Lord! Only what we do for Him will last in the end!
