Whether He is a sinner or not, I do not know. One thing is know: that though I was blind, now I see." (John 9:25)This man was not a rabbi or priest, yet he stood up to the Pharisees, the leaders of the synagogue, and defended his beliefs even when his own parents would not. He faced excommunication from the congregation yet he chose to honor the One who healed him. He even asked if the Pharisees would like to follow Jesus as well!!! We do not need to have a seminary degree to defend the Gospel. All we need to share is what we know of Christ and what He has done for us. Stand up! Tell your story! Never back down! Someone may even choose to follow the Leader too!
"In the Beginning", the daily REMINDER from The Carroll Outreach Mission (formerly The Sparrows' Nest or TSN), is intended to jump start your day with the Lord. The Bible opens up with , "In the beginning, God..." It is our prayer that you will use this tool to begin or "restart" your day with the Lord! Only what we do for Him will last in the end!

Do NOT Back Down!
I often wonder why those of other doctrines tend to know more about the CHRISTian Faith than CHRISTians (we) do. It as though whenever we are confronted by someone who disagrees with our biblical doctrine that we run, hide, pull the shades and wait for them to leave. Most times we simply change the subject! Why?
Are we ashamed? Are we simply lacking knowledge? Are we not confident in our faith?
A blind man, blind since birth, was healed by Jesus and then questioned, along with his parents, by the Pharisees as to the length of his blindness and who had "healed" him. Even the parents feared answering and told the leaders to ask the man himself. This man however, was not afraid. He told them what he knew . . .
