The New Super Hero

Look . . . Up in the sky . . . It's a bird . . . It's a plane . . . No, it's a new SUPER HERO!

And He sat down and called the twelve. And He said to them, "If anyone would be first, he must be the last of all and servant of all." (Mark 9:35)

Most of our super heroes had special powers. They could fly, leap tall buildings, run at superhuman speeds, possess tremendous strength, stretch beyond human limits, or some other unbelievable feat. Jesus did all these . . . and came back to life from a brutal death . . .  all while saving anyone who calls upon His name from a fiery, eternal hell!

So how can we be like Him? How can we too be a Super Hero? We must serve like He does . . . by giving our life up for others! Now go strap on that cross, put on that helmet, grab that sword and follow . . . 

There is a world to save!
