Continuing Education

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. (Colossians 2:6-8)

Summer is upon us . . . schools are either closed or winding down . . .graduations all around us. . . . Like me, teachers are cleaning up, packing up and either planning to get away or planning for summer school (me!).

Education in the classroom is a good thing. However, we must be constantly educated concerning the things of God! All the degrees, diplomas and certificates won't do for eternity. Titles and offices will all burn off in the fire.

What matters most is Whom we know and what we know about Him . . . that we KNOW Him!
