Pray . . . Pray . . . Pray

Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.(James 5:13-16)
Prayer works! If you do not believe it for yourself, take James' advice here. Prayer moves the heart of God and makes things happen. We should pray in all times; when in trouble, when we are happy, when we are physically or spiritually sick, when we simply get together with others. Prayer keeps us in communion with God and one another. It unites believers to their Creator! Persistent prayer brings us to a utter dependance upon God. We realize how much we need Him for everything we are required to have in life. As we pray together, we also realize the need for fellowhip with ellow believers.
Do not go it alone. We need God . . . we need one another! Let us PRAY!
