Fully God and Fully Man . . .

W
ho, being in very nature[a] God,did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature[b] of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death . . . even death on a cross!(Philippians 2:6-8)
From the days of the early church fathers, this doctrine has been debated. Jesus was fully God and fully man! He still is. He is God in the flesh who personally came to rescue mankind from their sin. No one else could do it. No one else would!
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. . . .The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:1-14)
God soooooo loved each of us that He personally went about making a way for each of us to be with Him eternally. No matter what folks may say today, I believe His Word! I will not believe a watered-down version. I will not compromise it so to be accepted. I am fine with just me and God is it needs to be that way!
