"In the Beginning", the daily REMINDER from The Carroll Outreach Mission (formerly The Sparrows' Nest or TSN), is intended to jump start your day with the Lord. The Bible opens up with , "In the beginning, God..." It is our prayer that you will use this tool to begin or "restart" your day with the Lord! Only what we do for Him will last in the end!

God said it. I believe it. That settles it!
“But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” (Mark 10:6-9)
God said it. I believe it. That settles it. This used to be enough for people to belive something. However, in this world today, anyone can say or do anyting and others will agree that is is allowable . . . even lawful! Not so with God . . .
From the beginning (Genesis 1:23-24)God ordained marriage to be a husband and wife, man and woman. It was designed to be forever, not simply while it was convenient. Man was granted divorce because of his hard heart, as Jesus explains here, not for irreconcilable differences!(Mark 10:2-5)
Just becausse man has tried to change the playbook, it does not mean the rules of the game have changed. Oh no . . . throw a flag . . . blow the whistle . . . time out!!!!
It is time to call a foul and stop condoning all the cheating!
God is still in control. He will have the final say. He makes the rules and He makes the decisions. There is no discussion. There is no need to go to the booth for a review! We have the rules clearly explained in the Bible! Why can't we be the ones to set the record straight. Why do we sit on the sidelines. Get in the game fellow believers!!!!
Play by the rules or suffer the consequences. It is real simple. But we have to play the game . . . we must get off the sidelines and get involved in the battle!
