Quick . . . Someone to rescue . . . Superman? Batman? Hulk? We need help! There are so many hurting, injured, sick, dying . . . We need a real-life SUPERHERO!!!!!
Oh, wait. There is One and He has done all this and more. In fact He has saved the entire world. Yet we must believe it and live it out!
Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them.(Matthew 15:30)
Oh yes, we indeed need a SUPERHERO today! We need a CAPTAIN to lead us in battle and save us from destruction. But it is not Captain America 🇺🇸 for sure! It is Captain Jesus 🥇, the Author and Finisher of our faith! He died in battle, yet He lives again and forever!
For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the CAPTAIN of their salvation perfect through sufferings.(Hebrews 2:10)
