Greater love has NO man than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. (John 15:13)LOVE is so overused today. Everybody LOVES everybody. We LOVE the dog. WE LOVE our jobs. We LOVE our cars. We even LOVE the food we eat! But think about it . . .what is LOVE really? First off, it is from God and defined by God God IS love.(1 John 4:8) We only know the meaning of love because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19) If we do not love God than how can we even think of loving others? (1 John 4:20) You see, yet while we still sinners and enemies of God, Jesus died for us! (Romans 5:8) So on this Valentine's Day . . A day to express our love to those precious to us, let us first LOVE God! Let us give Him His due. Let us ❤️ as He loves . . .unconditionally, sacrificially, and completely!
