Where is Jesus?

For Christ also died for sins once for all, in order that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in spirit; in which also He went and made proclamation to the spirits now in prison, who once were disobedient, when the patience of God kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through the water. (1 Peter 3:18-20)

Saturday . . . Jesus was crucified upon the cross . . . buried in the tomb . . . Where was He? What was He doing? One thing He was not doing was preaching to those in hell to save those who rejected Him earlier in life. They did see Him and they knew for sure that they had missed out. It is thought,  however that He released those who had put their faith in the coming Messiah. Some were seen in the Holy City during this time. (Matthew 27:50-54)

Praise God that we do not have to wait today! We can accept Him at His word. We can make that eternal decision today. Many have died and found out the hard way . . . Jesus' words are true! Do you know my Savior? Has He redeemed your soul? Will you be with Him in paradise one day as the " good thief" was promised? Today . . . Make the choice! Today . . . before Easter . . . Choose Christ! Easter is not simply a day to play dress up. It's a day to celebrate His resurrection and our future resurrection with Him. 

But you must know Him while we are yet living . . . or before He returns!
