The Winning Side

Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.
Proverbs 26:12)

The fool says in his heart that there is no God. (Psalm 14:1) Even so those who know God and still do what pleases themselves personally is probably worse off than those who do not believe. Even Jesus made a comment on these lukewarm Christians:

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
(Revelation 3:15-16)

To know God and His ways and not follow His ways is simply foolish . . . stuuuupid! As my pastor reminded me last night, we do not battle for victory, but from victory! The victory has been won: Why not side with the winner?

I am on the winning side . . . how 'bout you?
