Promises . . . Promises

Promises . . . Promises . . . God keeps HIS Promises!

And I will put enmity between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.” (Genesis 3:15)
Just after the first sin, God PROMISED a solution. It concerned CHRISTmas!

Jesus, already present as The Word (John 1:1) would eventually enter the world, Emmanuel, God with us. (Matthew 1:23) Even after dying for our sin and entering back into heaven, He PROMISED a friend, a counselor, His Spirit which would indwell every believer. (John 15:26)

As we exit the Giving Thanks holiday let's never forget the Promise  It is a Promise from God but one we must accept and embrace for ourselves. He does not force Himself upon anyone.

Thank God for being a PROMISE KEEPER!

Have we accepted the offer? If so, have we kept our Promise to follow Him?
