All we will ever need . . .

Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness;Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God;It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. (Psalm 100: 1-3)

Ok, so we just celebrated Thanksgiving.  Whether you went away for a few days, visited with family and friends, or even had some quiet time alone, it was time to reflect and remember all God has done! No, we may not have all that we want or all that we need for that matter, yet we who have Christ literally have all we will ever need . . . in this life and the next!

So we come to Him shouting with joy . . . even if just on the inside. We should gladly serve Him wherever we find ourselves. He is God, after all! He thought enough to make us and ut us here for such a time as this. We belong to Him and that is something to shout about . . .don't you think

Perhaps our lack of thanksgiving has to do with a lack of connection and commitment on our part?

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (John 15:5)

Jesus always sought His Father before acting . . . early in the morning, before healing someone, even late at night in the Garden before His eventual crucifixion. What about you and me? Are we that connected to the Lord to seek Him our throughout the day? Are we committed to His work and His plans or is He a second thought after we find ourselves at wits end?

I am thankful I can always return to Him and know He is waiting for me!

4-24-24 . . . .backward and forward . . . today is today no matter how we write it.

Today is 4-24-24. No matter if we write it forward or backward, it is still 4-24-24. This reminds me of my scripture today . . . Look at God...
