We are leading . . . but in which direction?

Respect for authority . . . .many times in today's world that is hard! Yet we must in a God-honoring way. It shows a reference for God. Those of under authority, and we ALL are, we must remember that all authority comes from God. (Romans 13:1) Those of us who lead must also remember our role. We are leading . . . but in which direction?
A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.  It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more  those of his household! Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.  . . . And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:24-28)
Remember, we are accountable unto God!

Yes vs No . . . Do not cheat God and family!

But my eyes are fixed on You, Sovereign Lord; in You, I take refuge—do not give me over to death. Keep me safe from the traps set by evil...
