how to say things at the right time

soft answer turns away wrath,
But a harsh word stirs up anger.

The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly,

But the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness.(Proverbs 15:1-2)
At times, we may have the correct knowledge, all the facts, and all the information needed, yet how we present them can come off harsh, arrogant and even offensive. Knowing how to say things at the right time is a big key to maintain healthy relationships!

Winning an argument is not as important as winning a relationship. Showing who is right is not as important showing love for a person. God holds us all accountable for our words but also our thoughts actions, motives, and yes, even text messages and social media posts!.

Let's allow God to examine our hearts today so we can speak His words in His timing so we can restore, rebuild and strengthen relationships between one another!
The heart of the wise teaches his mouth, And adds learning to his lips. Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones. There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.(Proverbs 16:23-25)
