Do We Live to Give?

By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? (1 John 3:16-17)
I love the writings of John....believe in the Messiah and live like it. That's his theme throughout. The youngest of the disciples was perhaps the simplest. Live what you believe!

I guess that's why I love working with kids so much. They are genuine. They live what they like! Passion rules them! If I can just convince them to be passionate about Christ . . . . well, you know.

But adults, that is a different animal. We are so busy, so involved, so
rather than invested! We have been robbed of so much, banrupt of love and commitment by this world that we  no longer have much to give.  Much of what we have we hold on to as if it was "mine"!

Kids go all in though . . . sports, video games, anime, you name it .  . . . 24/7, eight days a week!

John calls us to live a life of sacrifice, like Jesus did. As we look at our lives, can people tell we walk with Jesus by how we live, how we share, how we give? Below is an opportunity to prove it. Join the mission work of God today. If you cannot "go", then "send"! It shows our love for Christ and others!
