It's on You!

And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son." (Luke 15:20-21)
We have all heard the Prodigal Son story . . . God indeed offers second and third chances and more. Yet we must play a role in the next chance to do right! We must admit our guilt . . admit our fault . . . come to the realization that WE are to blame and not others or God! God remains faithful to forgive, yet we must be willing to change.
. . . for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. (Luke 19:10)
Here, Luke tells us of Zacchaeus, the tax collector, who wanted to get a glimpse of Jesus. He climbed a tree, because he was a short little guy, but Jesus spotted him and called him down. Jesus even made time to dine with him at his home. Zacchaeus made the most of the situation and changed his ways an committed to follow after Christ. How many chances do we need before we decide to commit? Don't allow chance after chance to pass you by. Whether it's a chance in life, or even more importantly, a chance to know Jesus and spend eternity with Him!
