Worthy of Jesus

Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth, I did not come to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to "set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, and a man's enemies will be those in his own household. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take up his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. (Matthew 10:34-39)
When we follow Christ, we are going to face ridicule, division, and sometimes even persecution. When we take on the character of Jesus, it will NOT be an easy road. However, if followers of Jesus begin to think universal acceptance is more important than Truth, than the person of Jesus is being misconstrued. While we all sin and none of us are near the character of Christ, it is something we strive for daily. Many times our self-centered pride gets in the way of our good and Godly intentions. Believers come in all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Some live a quiet yet effective life for the Lord. Others live out loud and bold, but a yet still effective. However, we all must intentionally, carefully and lovingly live out the life Christ has given to us. No matter the intensity of the persecution, it is real. It comes with the territory! www.tsninthebeginning.blogspot.com

If you live of the world love the things of the world more than you love and follow Jesus then you aren't worthy to spend an eternity in heaven rather then hell. If you live of the world you lose your life, but if you lose your life for Jesus you will find a new life in heaven.

It's funny how people will turn on you once you find your way to Christ 🗣🙏🏾

Yes it is!

Yes vs No . . . Do not cheat God and family!

But my eyes are fixed on You, Sovereign Lord; in You, I take refuge—do not give me over to death. Keep me safe from the traps set by evil...
