A Little Talk with Jesus

Why pray? Why not! When we fail to pray, we show a lack of faith . . . a lack of dependence upon our Creator God. We show a lack of need for Him. We treat Him as if He doesn't matter. It does not really matter the manner in which we pray or the words we use as much as it matters that we involve Him in our daily life! There are no magic words or heavenly style, simply a personal need and acknowledgement that He is indeed God! Would we not talk over a major decision with our parents? Would we neglect to discuss daily choices with friends and associates? Do we not seek internet advice such as Google, Web MD, Better Business Bureau, or other such sources when making purchases or obtaining services? How is it we cannot or will not feel comfortable speaking to God? Why pray?
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ . . . . that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width, and length, and depth, and height . . . . to KNOW the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above ALL we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to ALL generations, forever and ever . . . AMEN!!!!! (Ephesians 3:14-21)
