Thanks in the Journey

So if I come, I will bring up what he is doing, talking wicked nonsense against us. And not content with that, he refuses to welcome the brothers, and also stops those who want to and puts them out of the church. (3 John 1:10)

John, the elder of the churches in Asia Minor, is upset that some in the church are not only refusing to show hospitality to the traveling  missionaries, but they are also convincing others not to assist them, going as far as putting them out of the church! While I have not witnessed rejection to this extreme, I have been told that missionaries should support themselves, that it is the church's responsibility (not individuals), and you are not a member of our denominational allegiance/ partnership. Yet as servants of the Lord and called by Him to reach others with the Gospel, we have managed by God's grace for eighteen years!

We are so very thankful for our home church, a few local congregations (be they Baptist, Lutheran, or otherwise), and many individuals from school children through senior citizens who have partnered with us to serve thousands and bring hundreds to Christ through various outreaches and programs. Most of all, we are thankful to the Lord for calling us to serve Him, who can do far and above what we ever planned or dreamed!

Please pray for us as we plan the CHRISTmas Season and beyond. We have 11 teens we serve and we need the Lord to supply . . . We are trusting God to raise at least $1,000 before CHRISTmas to allow us to do as we have planned. You may partner with us (tax-deductible of course) through mail (TSN, Box 2305, Bowie, MD, 20718) or on line at www.tsnministries.org (PayPal). Please join God at work and team with us to draw local teens into a deeper relationship with their Father.

Yes vs No . . . Do not cheat God and family!

But my eyes are fixed on You, Sovereign Lord; in You, I take refuge—do not give me over to death. Keep me safe from the traps set by evil...
