Without Excuse

But they have not all obeyed the Gospel. For Isaiah says, "LORD, who has believed our report?" So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. But I say, have they not heard? Yes, indeed: "Their sound has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the end of the world (Psalm 19:4)." (Romans 10:17-18)

Funny that this word in Romans was written so long ago, just 30-40 years after Christ resurrection. Even stranger that the quotes come Psalms and Isaiah, before the incarnation of Christ!

Many today ask what happens to the ones who have never heard the Gospel . . . the Good News of Christ.  Yet the psalmist, along with the prophet Isaiah and apostle Paul, all say the Word of God has not been obeyed.

Even today, the question is not have we heard, but have we obeyed! Enough has been said and done for folks to believe.

Will we walk in obedience to Christ or in step with the world?
