Foolish . . . We Will See!

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written:“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate. (1 Corinthians 1:18-19)
The Gospel is so misunderstood; So simple to those who have chosen to follow Christ, yet so complicated to the unbeliever. Life-saving to the believer but life-threatening to those who choose not to believe . . . the rich young ruler could not put his faith in the Savior when confronted by Jesus.(Mark 10:17-27) He trusted in his possessions. Many today suffer the same fate. They trust their bank accouts, their IRA's, their real estate investments or their stocks. But what about YOU? Can you put total trust in the Savior and leave the world and its riches behind? Is it possible for you to believe in the Gospel and not the promises of this world? Will we who believe care enough to let folks know?
One day we all will find out just how foolish the promises of the world really are . . . then it will be too late!
