Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart.(1 Peter 1:22)
It is not enough to say we love Jesus. It has to show!
When Jesus was asked what was the greatest commandment, He replied:
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.(Matthew 22:37-38)
Love is the key to honoring our Lord and Savior; love for Him and love for people. Love is an action verb, not a feeling!
My friends in New Orleans say it this way: Love God with all you got and love people 'til you drop!
Jesus once asked Peter: Do you love me? (John 21:15-19)He is asking us today . . . Do you love Me?
