Anticipating His Return

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (1 John 4:18)

If one truly loves the Lord, there is no fear of the future. With all the talk of the world coming to an end on this day or that day, those who are true believers must live in confidence in the One who really knows! If we know the true and Living God in the pardoning of our sins through Jesus Christ, then we have nothing to fear! In fact, we are anticipating His return.

But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,but only the Father. (Matthew 24:36)

Not even Jesus knew the day or hour He would return. . . Only God knows! So why live in fear? The fear is not in knowing the day, but in not knowing the Savior!

He will come back! The question is are we ready today? Those who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)Be prepared and even excited about His return (2 Timothy 4:8). . . no fear, but anticipation!
